Call for High School Graduates
TRICIA (Tri City India Association) will be honoring 2012 High School graduates of Indian origin at our 13th Annual Spring Festival on June 3, 2012 at the Empire State Plaza in Albany. We are reviving an important tradition from many years ago. Over the course of TRICIA's 40+ year history, we have periodically recognized the accomplishments of students in the region. This year we are formally launching a High School Graduation Recognition event at the Spring Festival-- a fun afternoon filled with cultural programs, vendors & delicious food!
As an Indian community, we are so proud of the accomplishments and contributions young Indian Americans make and will continue to do as they develop their professional careers. They are role models for the younger children and teens, as well as a source of pride for all of us. We want to celebrate our flourishing young community and encourage their future aspirations as they venture out into the world!
If you are a parent of a graduating 2012 High School senior of Indian origin or a graduating senior of Indian origin or know of someone who is, please simply send us the student's name, address, email, phone number, high school name and college you/they plan to attend to: tricia.albany@gmail.com
The response deadline is May 25th. We will contact you to invite you and your family to a special ceremony to be held at the Spring Festival on June 3rd at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
